Hey, I’m Khoshnaz¡ 👋🏼
a strategic product designer who loves diving into complex problems and surfacing with simple, thoughtful solutions that feel like they were always meant to be. With a background in Software Engineering and a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, I live at the intersection of logic and empathy, strategy and storytelling. I like to say I speak fluent “design” and “dev,” and enjoy translating between the two.
Over the past 9+ years, I’ve worked across SaaS, B2B, and B2C, mostly in early-stage environments where the path isn’t paved yet. That’s my sweet spot: building from 0 to 1, shaping messy ideas into usable products, and scaling them with care. I use data to guide decisions, systems to create clarity, and tiny details to make the experience sing. I also mentor emerging designers on ADPList and love helping others grow with more confidence and joy in their work.
But enough about the résumé. Let’s get a little more personal:👇

A few facts about me 👀
💜 I’m that designer who’s absolutely in love with purple.
Ask anyone I’ve worked with, they’ll probably say, “Oh yeah, Khoshnaz? The one with the purple everything?” From my keyboard to my wardrobe, it’s not just a color, it’s a vibe.
🌍 I’m a huge fan of community and creative collisions.
I thrive on meeting brilliant, curious minds. You’ll often find me attending design meetups or just having deep design chats over coffee. I’ve built a 10K+ community on LinkedIn, where I regularly share design reflections, behind-the-scenes insights, and honest takes on this wild design journey.
📸 Outside the 9–5, I’m also creating for a 30K+ audience on Instagram and YouTube.
What started as UX tutorials has evolved into something more personal, sharing not just design tips, but also my lifestyle, my learnings, and everything in between. It’s where I let my creativity breathe, with a little less structure and a little more sparkle.
🏋🏻♀️ When I’m not designing…
I’m probably lifting weights, exploring a new city, journaling ideas for my next side project, or planning a trip that combines coffee, culture, and a great view.

🎓 How I Got Here
From software logic to human behavior, this is the academic thread behind my design thinking.
M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction
Universität Siegen · Germany · 2023–Present
Studying HCI has helped me understand the psychological layers behind human behavior, so I can design products that don’t just function well, but truly resonate with how people think, feel, and connect.
B.Sc. in Computer Software Technologie Engineering
Technical and vocational college . Tehran, Iran · 2017–2019
This is where I started bridging tech and design. I built a language-learning app using Android Studio and Adobe XD, coding the backend while shaping the user experience. It was my first taste of designing for people, not just building things.
A.Sc. in Computer Software
Technical and vocational college . Tehran, Iran · 2015–2017
Kicked off my tech journey here. My early research focused on automated testing in agile environments, yep, Where it all began, with code, algorithms, and research papers. I focused on automated testing in agile environments, and yes, I could debug in C# before I ever wireframed anything. It gave me a strong technical foundation I still lean on today.before I even knew what UX really was.
FAQs
What You Might Want to Know
What services do you offer as a Product Designer?
I offer end-to-end product design, from early discovery to polished handoff. That includes user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, design systems, and interface design. I also bring product strategy into the mix: aligning with business goals, collaborating with devs and PMs, and driving outcomes, not just outputs. Bonus: I mentor designers, too.
What’s your design process and how do you adapt it to different teams or stages?
I don’t believe in rigid frameworks. My process flexes depending on context, but usually includes discovery, ideation, validation, and delivery. With startups, I work fast and lean. With larger teams, I lead more structured sprints, research plans, or design systems. Either way, I make sure we’re solving the right problems, not just shipping screens.
How do you prioritize features or user needs when everything feels important?
I zoom out. I align with stakeholders to understand business impact, look at user data to identify friction points, and synthesize research into clear opportunities. I’m not afraid to say “not now” if it protects focus. Prioritization, to me, is about clarity and courage.
Can you work with remote or distributed teams?
Absolutely. Most of my work has been remote, across time zones and cultures. I’m comfortable leading async collaboration, setting up efficient feedback cycles, and keeping design progress visible and aligned, even when we’re not in the same room.
What industries have you worked in?
I have experience working in various industries including technology, healthcare, finance, e-commerce, e-mobility, entertainment, real estate, virtual reality, telecommunications, sports, and education, which helps me bring diverse insights and solutions to each project.
How do you measure the success of a design project?
I measure success through user feedback, usability testing results, and key performance indicators (KPIs) like increased engagement, conversion rates, and user satisfaction levels.
How do you handle product pivots or changing priorities?
With curiosity, not panic. I reframe, regroup, and refocus the team on what matters now. I’ve worked in early-stage teams where change is constant, I know how to adjust fast while keeping the user experience cohesive and the strategy grounded.
How can I get started with a project or consultation?
You can get started by contacting me through the contact form on my website or sending me an email. We can discuss your needs and arrange a consultation to explore how I can assist you.
